Rapping and folklore go together?

Kolo Gana is a rapper and hip-hop producer from Nigeria who samples world music on his Instagram page. At the end of January, he sampled an old Slovak folk song by ĽH Samka Smetanu. "If you want to make a great rap beat, sample music from Slovakia. I'm telling you, watch," he said at the beginning of the video, which later garnered a very positive reaction among Slovaks. He sampled the music, created a beat and in the end, a completely new song that was released at the beginning of February. Check it out here.
