​Gabriela was born in communist Czechoslovakia and raised in independent Slovakia. This is where she graduated from university before working as a member of cabin crew in Spain. It was during her consequent studies at prestigious universities in the United Kingdom that she deepened her understanding and appreciation of Slovakia’s past and present, escalating with a doctorate in Corruption Mindsets. Instead of pursuing an academic career abroad, she returned to Slovakia to invest her knowledge and experience to help share Slovakia with the world. Gabriela is a published author and Director of Global Slovakia, a Slovak not-for-profit dedicated to promoting Slovakia globally.
