Peter Dlhopolec is the editor-in-chief of The Slovak Spectator. He oversees The Spectator’s editorial coverage and newsroom.

Before being appointed to the top job in February 2023, he had worked as a staff writer, a social media manager, and a podcaster for The Slovak Spectator since 2017.

He covers different topics, ranging from travel to politics.

He was born in Zvolen and received two bachelor’s degrees from Ss. Cyril and Methodius University in Trnava for European politics and mass media studies. During his studies, he spent some time in Poland, Romania, Slovenia and Ireland.

Discovering new music is his big passion. Some of his free time is spent doing sports and litter picking.
