"On March 13, 2008, after the envelopes containing proposals on complying with the criteria were opened, NDS began to evaluate the tender ... the process still hasn't been completed," said Jánošík, who added that the tender's final results will be announced to the public as soon as a decision is made.

On March 13, an expert commission opened envelopes with the bids of four consortia - Tossy, Slovakpass, SanToll and Kapsh, with one of five shortlisted companies - Satways consortium - failing to submit its offer. The opening of the envelopes also featured the publication of criteria for assessing the bids, including the price, efficiency of toll collection and the form of toll transaction. According to the NDS, the assessment process should last about six weeks (to late April). TASR
