While the parties have so far not made the names of new ministers public, they have agreed on a division that would give the strongest party, the SDKÚ of PM Mikuláš Dzurinda, six seats in the 16-chair government.

The SDKÚ is to command the PM’s chair as well as the Finance, Foreign Affairs, Defense, Transport and Social Affairs ministries.

The ethnic Hungarian SMK party, the second strongest in the four-party constellation, will get the Deputy PM’s chair as well as Regional Development, Environment and Agriculture.
