On February 26, the Bratislava District Court opened a restructuring of Air Slovakia and it has 30 days to study the restructuring opinion and either permit or reject the process. But it is unlikely that the court will say approve the plan as the airline company has had its operating licence suspended, the Sme daily wrote.
“After the court has started this process, all execution proceedings are suspended and new ones cannot be opened,” Radovan Pala of the e/n/w/c law company told Sme. From the beginning of the restructuring, the company is protected form its creditors, meaning that no creditor can claim any debt originating before February 26.
On March 2, the Slovakia’s Aviation Office suspended Air Slovakia’s Certificate of Flight Operation. The Court has one month to take into consideration all circumstances. Sme
