The meeting was organised by the Greek Ambassador to Slovakia, Nicolas Plexidas, as part of an initiative marking the Greek presidency over the European Council, SITA reported.

Speaking to the diplomats, Lajčák said it is important that all the countries that are concerned actively participate in the de-escalation of tension between Ukraine and Russia, while the European Union belongs among the key players in the matter, SITA wrote.

EU enlargement was discussed mainly in connection with the Western Balkans, mainly Montenegro and Serbia.
