Four dead, 34 injured in Hriňová crash

A bus crash near Hriňová Sunday evening killed four people, rescuers reported.

The bus was on the way home from a folklore festival when it fell into a ravine. About 40 passengers were on board.

Police have already confirmed the identity of two of the victims.

Thirty-four passengers were injured, and four of them suffered serious injuries, including the driver. The spokesman of the operation centre of the Rescue Health Service, Jaroslav Sahul, did not confirm whether there were children among the injured.

The passengers in the bus were mostly members of folklore groups from Hriňová.
