OUTGOING President Ivan Gašparovič will meet with US President Barack Obama, new Ukrainian President Peter Poroshenko and other European leaders on June 3 in Warsaw.

Obama’s trip to Europe comes at a very important time in the Transatlantic relationship as the US seeks to reaffirm its commitments to its European allies, deepen its cooperation with its European allies, and pursue an agenda that can shore up both the security and economic foundations of the Transatlantic partnership, Deputy National Security Advisor for Strategic Communications Ben Rhodes told a press briefing in the White House on May 30.
