The Dutch-owned international supermarket company Ahold will leave the Slovak market, possibly selling its local shops to the Condorum, the company that owns the Moja Samoška and Terno supermarket chains.
The Dutch concern Ahold which has been on the Slovak market since 2001 discussed a possible sale with the Condorum company November 13. Condorum could buy not only the supermarkets but also six fuel stations of Ahold, the Sme daily wrote. It was not clear whether the deal was concluded.
