Internet rates up again

As of today Internet hourly surfing rates have been increased by the Slovenské telekomunikácie fixed line monopoly by as much as 25 per cent, while renting a home line has been raised by the same margin. Internet groups have attacked the rises, which they predict will further slow the spread of communications technology and on-line knowledge in Slovakia.
