Slovak Foreign Affairs Minister Miroslav Lajčák is due to attend an informal meeting of NATO foreign ministers to be held in Brussels on Thursday, March 5, it was announced on Wednesday.
On Wednesday, Slovakia's most senior diplomat met NATO Secretary-General Jaap de Hoop Scheffer and attended a dinner for NATO and EU foreign ministers, the TASR newswire wrote.
Thursday’s informal ministerial meeting, which will focus on devising the agenda for the NATO annual summit to be held in Strasbourg and Kehl (Germany), will witness the first meetings between US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and her opposite numbers from NATO and EU countries. TASR
