Opening of CONECO Fair symbolically launches construction season

The 29th annual CONECO construction fair, the largest of its kind in Slovakia, opened its doors at the Incheba EXPO building in Bratislava on April 1, the TASR newswire wrote.

The 29th annual CONECO construction fair, the largest of its kind in Slovakia, opened its doors at the Incheba EXPO building in Bratislava on April 1, the TASR newswire wrote.

There are several other fairs running parallel to CONECO. These is the 18th annual Racioenergia fair focused on energy usage, the Climatherm heat energy fair, and the two newest exhibitions that will showcase investment and real-estate opportunities - Conecoinvest and Slovrealinvest. Around 900 exhibitors will display their products on an area that covers 60,000 square metres and includes inside stands and an open-air section. The fairs, which will be open for five days, will present companies from 14 European countries plus Canada and the Philippines.

There will also be two conferences called 'Theory and Construction of Land Buildings' and 'Real-estate Marketing', while visitors can take part in a seminar entitled 'Integrated Management of Water Resources in Urban Areas'. Young people will have the chance to participate in the 10th Slovak Roofing Trades Championships, which are designed for students of vocational secondary schools. The winners of the CONECO Golden Plaque award, the Racionergia Golden Plaque award, the Golden Leonardo award, and the award for the Best Energy Project will be announced on April 3. TASR
