THE HEALTH Ministry reported a 20 percent year-on-year decrease in the turnover rate within the pharmaceutical industry during the first half of 2004.
According to the ministry’s spokesperson Mário Miklósi, the drop was a result of the continuing downward trend in drug consumption, which fell by 14 percent year-on-year, as well as the ministry’s initiated measures aimed at cutting the cost of drugs, the Pravda daily wrote.
