Police have accepted a complaint made against Supreme Court chairman Štefan Harabin filed by a critic - Judge Peter Paluda - at the end of June, the spokesperson for the Bratislava Police Corps Presidium, Andrea Poláčiková, confirmed for the TASR newswire on Monday, October 5.
“I honour the law and the Slovak Constitution, which I fulfil, therefore I'm not afraid of false accusations made by Paluda,” said Harabin.
Paluda has submitted other two complaints against Harabin in the past. Although they were dismissed by police, they are being supplemented now. Paluda's complaint concerns unpaid bonuses to judges, which he views as an especially serious abuse of office. TASR
