The match that can decide the fate of the Slovak national football team at the World Cup that will take place on Saturday, October 10, at Tehelné pole in Bratislava is perceived as potentially troublesome and risky by the Slovak Football Association and thus police in the capital have been preparing for it with appropriate security measures, the SITA newswire reported.
Slovakia’s rival will be the Slovenian team. Several hundred police officers will monitor the security situation before, during, and after the match, said the deputy spokesperson of the Bratislava Police, František Peczár.
The measures will include available water cannon, mounted police, and the police dog unit. The streets around the stadium in Tehelné pole will be closed during the match. SITA
