Police have succeeded in their tenth attempt to deliver a summons to former PM Vladimír Mečiar, locating him in Košice before a press conference. The former leader was to appear before police today to explain where he got the money to refurbish a private villa. The daily Sme claims to have an invoice showing Mečiar spent Sk41 million ($860,000) on the work in 1999.
