SEVEN out of ten Slovaks believe that the state should finance the completion of the new Slovak National Theatre (SND) building in central Bratislava.
70 percent of the adult population is convinced that the government should also operate the new SND building after the completion, according to an opinion poll carried out between February 3 and 10 by the Slovak Academy of Sciences and Slovak Radio, reported the SITA news agency. Fourteen percent of all respondents were in favour of selling the partly finished new SND building provided that the investor offered a "reasonable price" and 10 percent of respondents would like to see the building sold as soon as possible.
