In this story, you will find the most recent presidential election polls conducted by five different polling agencies for different media outlets.
After a surprise win in the first round, former foreign minister Ivan Korčok emerged as a winner in three of these polls. However, Peter Pellegrini, the speaker of parliament, has an equal chance of winning the second round. The margin in the polls, with the exception of one survey, is exceedingly narrow.

According to this poll, 53 percent of respondents are likely to vote in the runoff round.
IPSOS
According to this poll, 48 percent of respondents are likely to vote in the runoff round. The turnout in the first round was 51.91 percent.
Ipsos calculated the possible results based on two different scenarios, with a lower and higher turnout. Pellegrini could benefit from the higher turnout, according to the agency.
"Even with higher turnouts, the differences between Korčok and Pellegrini are at the level of a statistical error, so we are in for a dramatic election night with an uncertain election winner," analyst Roman Pudmarčík told Denník N.
The daily notes that about 70 percent of Štefan Harabin's voters, who cast the vote in the first round, are willing to visit the polls. Up to 90 percent of these voters say that they will vote for Pellegrini. More than 260,000 people supported Harabin, a pro-Kremlin politician and one of the most notorious spreaders of disinformation, in the first round of the presidential race.
NMS Market Research
The difference in the support of both candidates is 3.4 percent in favour of Korčok. This means that Pellegrini has a chance of becoming president.
Pellegrini has gained a significant number of voters from unsuccessful candidates - especially from Štefan Harabin, NMS analyst Mikuláš Hanes told the Sme daily. However, Korčok also managed to convince the voters who did not vote in the first round.
Also, Korčok's electoral potential, 57.9 percent, is higher than Pellegrini's (55.3 percent), the poll indicates.
SCIO
Before the first round of the presidential election, the SCIO agency, co-founded by former politician Martin Klus, published the most accurate pre-election poll.
Today, the agency asserts once again that Korčok has the potential to succeed in the final round of the race.
"In politics, people like to follow the winners. Also, the smear campaign and the mobilisation were not effective when we collected the data," Klus told the Hospodárske Noviny daily.
Like other agencies, Klus confirmed that Harabin voters could decide the election.
"Many people are ashamed to say that they are voting for Pellegrini, especially Harabin's voters. Pellegrini doesn't completely suit them, but they want to vote because they don't want Korčok to win," Klus said.
He emphasised that pre-election debates on TV channels, which took place after all the polls had come out, could have a significant impact on the final result. The smear campaign, which did continue in the past days, could also influence the result.
