Re: Slovakia will not withdraw soldiers from Iraq, Flash news briefs, Apr 26 - May 2, Vol 10, No 16

It is given that war is always bad, because it harms not only targets but also innocent people, no matter if the US is involved or any other country. As for those who worship Iraqi partisans, they not only go beyond common sense but also destroy the basic attribute possessed by every human - sympathy for innocent victims. No matter who started this war, or who finishes it; no matter if it was right or if it was wrong; the behaviour of Iraqi partisans is not only inappropriate, but also shows that it was a pretty good idea to enter Iraq.

Those people [fighting in resistance to the US and its allies] are not partisans, because they are not killing people responsible for war - they are killing innocent people. Thus they are murderers. Do they really want peace? Sure, but doing so by killing American troops and kidnapping innocent people in Iraq won't get them any congratulations. If they were wise they would stop and wait until the US leaves, and I am sure the US will - there is so much pressure on them.

I am not saying that it was right to enter Iraq, or that it was wrong. All I see here is that killing is always bad and by worshipping the opposition, just because it is fighting the US, one loses respect in the eyes of people with common sense.
