No less an authority than the US Supreme Court has ruled that flag burning is protected as freedom of speech.
It was definitely the Slovak police, which held the flag burners [two Czech protesters were subsequently banned from entering Slovakia for ten years] for 13 hours and dumped them over the border at 3:30 in the morning.
Mind you, having seen the tiny flags being burned on TV news I think it has to rate as one of the most pathetic protests that I have ever seen in my life.
