The FNM privatisation agency has called an international tender for the sale of a minority stake in electricity utility Slovenské Elektrárne, including two nuclear power plants. The final shape of the deal will be fixed during the tender.
SE is the last major state asset to be sold off following three years of concentrated privatisation efforts by the Dzurinda government that have seen banks, a telecom monopoly and a major gas utility secure private sector owners.
