After more than five years, a Slovak foreign affairs minister is paying an official visit to Finland at the invitation of Alexander Stubb, the Finish Foreign Affairs Minister and Slovak Foreign Affairs Minister Mikuláš Dzurinda is also meeting with the Speaker of Parliament, Sauli Niinistom, in Helsinki, the SITA newswire reported.
The subject of the talks between the two foreign ministers will be European affairs and the possibilities for development of bilateral cooperation in the area of research, development, innovations and economic relations.
The talks with the speaker of Finish parliament should focus on the global economy and proposals for overcoming impacts of the crisis. "Within his informal program, minister Dzurinda is looking for a common morning jog," informed the Slovak Foreign Affair Ministry's press department.
Dzurinda is in Helsinki on January 17 and Tuesday, January 18.
