SLOVAK Telekom (ST), Slovakia's dominant fixed-line operator, plans to sell Rádiokomunikácie, the branch of ST that secures signal transfer for TV and radio broadcasts.
The company's advisor, Wood & Company, should present ST with a short-list of bidders next week, the SME daily wrote.
ST expects that of the nine companies that have shown interest in Rádiokomunikácie, more than half will be short-listed.
The purchase price of the company may reach billions of crowns, according to estimates. ST would like to complete the sale by the end of this year.
