Slovaks annually drink 89 litres of beer each

The Slovak brewers’ association estimates that between April 2001 and March 2002 Slovaks consumed 4.8 million hectolitres of beer, or 89 litres for every man, woman and child, up to 60 litres of which was consumed from April to October.
