SLOVAKIA was the 12th most attractive invesment destination in Europe in 2004, according to an Ernst & Young survey of 672 managers worldwide, the Hospodárske noviny daily reported.
The new EU member was also the sixth most frequently mentioned European country for prospective future investments.
As regards the attractiveness of the tax system, Slovakia shares the third position with Poland and Switzerland.
Based on the direct foreign investments factor, Slovakia is in fifth place as regards its share of the automotive industry (behind France, the Czech Republic, Poland and the UK).
