Slovakia defeats another rival

The team from France did not steal any points from Slovaks.

Slovakia won all three points at the 2018 IIHF World Championship in Denmark in the match against France. The game ended 3:1.

Slovak goals were scored by Dávid Bondra, Dávid Buc and Michal Čajkovský, while Valentin Claireaux scored for France.

Slovakia now has 7 points in the preliminary round.

The Slovaks are playing in group A of the preliminary round held in Copenhagen, Denmark, facing teams from Austria, Belarus, the Czech Republic, France, Russia, Sweden and Switzerland.

Based on current IIHF World Rankings, Slovakia is ranked 10th, while France is 12th.
