Saturday carol singers: Hont Christmas

Saturday, November 23, at 19:00 on Františkánske Square.

The folklore ensemble HONT from Krupina region stands out as one of the few in Slovakia dedicated to preserving the music, dance, and songs of the former Hont county, especially the Krupinská planina plain.

"Hont Christmas" recreates the spirit of traditional carols, and the early 20th-century Bethlehem play, once performed by young men carolling on the 2nd day of Christmas.

Charity Christmas Bazaar

Sunday, November 24, 10:00 - 16:00 in Stará tržnica.

The Charity Christmas Bazaar, organised by the International Women's Club of Bratislava (IWCB), is one of Slovakia's key charity events, uniting the diplomatic, international, and local communities. It promotes goodwill, friendship, and support for NGOs helping those in need or working in health, education, and social care. Proceeds are donated to charity.

The event is run entirely by volunteers and is supported by Mayor Matúš Vallo.

This year, embassies from around 30 countries, international schools, and Slovak charities will showcase their traditions, culture, and cuisine.
