Spiš Castle among the most searched destinations in Slovakia

GOOGLE has published the list of the Slovak destinations which users search the most via its Google Maps website.

The most searched cultural and natural monument is Spiš Castle. It is followed by Bojnice Castle, Slovak Paradise, Červený Kameň Castle, and the Demänovská Cave of Liberty, the SITA newswire reported.

The top 10 list also includes Bratislava Castle, Dobšinská Ice Cave, Belianska Cave, Roháče – Spálená Dolina valley, and Orava Castle.

Regarding the most searched sites in the entertainment and relax category, first place went to Tatralandia aquapark near Liptovský Mikuláš (Žilina Region). Second placed M. R. Štefánik Airport in Bratislava, followed by Jasná Nízke Tatry ski resort, Slovakia Ring professional racing track, Winter Stadium of Ondrej Nepela in Bratislava, Košice airport, Zoo Bojnice, Aquapark Oravice, Agrocomplex exhibition area in Nitra, and Zoo Bratislava.

The list of the most popular Street View pictures from Slovakia in special collections at Google Maps is topped by the Popradské Pleso lake. The list also includes Tatralandia, the High Tatras, the Low Tatras, the Love Lakes in Štrbské Pleso, Spiš Castle, Zoo Bojnice, the town of Bardejov, Gino Paradise Bešeňová aquapark, and Piešťany spa, SITA wrote.
