While the Tatra Ice Cathedral at Hrebienok is slowly melting, there is a new attraction for tourists. It is Kvantarium, an interactive light gallery, located in the former Hotel Hrebienok.
Project manager of the gallery, Barbora Koch, said that it is the first exhibition of its kind in Slovakia.
“We were creating its concept for several years,” she said, as quoted by the SITA newswire. “Visitors can watch the laser show closely, see interactive exhibits, paint with light, while we explain various mysteries and physical phenomenon.”

For adults and children
The exhibition is divided into eight rooms.
“We prepared the exhibition for an adult visitor but there are some features interesting for children,” said Koch, adding that schools also visit.
The Slovak company Kvant and its physicists, creative people and electro-technicians are behind the project. The Kvantarium gallery is a mixture of art and education, according to them. It is open from Wednesday to Sunday from 9:00 to 16:00.
