Discover the nooks and crannies of Bratislava

The centre of the Slovak capital boasts many courtyards. However, many are hidden behind closed doors, others are passed-by unacknowledged. On the occasion of International Tourist Guide Day on February 21, the city of Bratislava has prepared a special guided tour for anyone willing to discover more about the city. Admission is free, no need to register either. Find out more here.

A house to visit: Sixty-six years ago, the small town of Žibritov in central Slovakia was transformed into the film village of Glogovo. It became the central location of the Slovak-Hungarian film classic "St. Peter's Umbrella". One village house attracts the crowds even today.
