Construction of Sky Park, one of the last projects of the late architect Zaha Hadid, began in grand style in Bratislava last May. Patrik Schumacher, the principal of Zaha Hadid Architects, attended the ceremonial tapping of the foundation stone.

“Sky Park will be a dynamic new community near the city centre, with fluid architecture that ensures generous living areas and communal spaces that flow into each other,” said Schumacher, who assumed leadership of the Zaha Hadid Architects studio after the death the world-renowned architect in 2016.

The first phase of the €300-million project will provide three, 31-storey residential towers with more than 700 apartments, 1,100 underground parking places and more than 2,100 square metres of high-quality amenities, all just a few minutes’ walk from the historical city centre.

The impressive views and design of the apartments, set in the middle of a new city park nearly as large as five football pitches, has already interested potential buyers. Since the launch of sales in early December, more than half of the apartments have been sold.
