A NEW flight connection to Manchester will be introduced from Bratislava Airport from April 1 with a frequency of three times a week, airport spokesperson Veronika Ševčíková announced on March 31.
Apart from this, seasonal lines to Paris-Beauvais and Mallorca will be introduced from April 2, as well as one to Trapani in Sicily starting a day later. The Beauvais line will be operated three times a week, while the latter two lines will operate twice a week. All fights are being provided by low-cost carrier Ryanair, the TASR newswire reported.
Flights to Brussels main airport Zaventem were also scheduled to be launched from April 1, but due to the airport's closure following the terrorist attack last week all flights from Bratislava will be operated via nearby Charleroi Airport until April 7.
