Drinker should be dead

POLICE in Bratislava were shocked when they breath-tested a man and found he should have been dead from the amount of alcohol he had in his blood.

A 47 year-old man was brought into a police station in the capital after breaking down a neighbours' door.

After blowing into a breath-tester police found he had 3.89 promiles of alcohol in his blood. Experts say anything above 3.5 promiles causes lethal alcohol poisoning in most people.

The man was put in a police cell for the night and was later charged with attacking a public official after he swore at police.
