Kiska puts an anti-far-right blogger on his party’s slate

All parties need to submit their slates by the end of this week.

Former Slovak President Andrej Kiska has unveiled the top posts on his party’s slate for the 2020 parliamentary elections.

Kiska, as Za Ľudí chair, will run in the elections from first place, followed by vice-chairs.

Veronika Remišová, who left the Ordinary People and Independent Personalities’ (OĽaNO) parliamentary caucus before the summer, is the party’s number two. Juraj Šeliga, who co-organised the For a Decent Slovakia protests, will run from third place.

"Za ľudí brings a fresh wind, new people and the hope that we will be able to put the mafia out of power," Kiska wrote on Facebook.
