Two men killed in light aircraft crash near Trnava

A light aircraft crashed near the village of Cerová (Trnava region) on Tuesday, December 16, killing both people on board. The plane was owned by an aeroclub in Senica (Trnava region). The two men - the pilot, 66, and the passenger, 26 - died instantly. According to police representatives, the plane, manufactured three years ago, was completely destroyed in the crash. The cause of the accident is being investigated by the representatives of Slovakia's Civil Aviation Authority. TASR
