Pope Francis' visit 2021

Pope Francis visits Slovakia on September 12 - 15, 2021. It is the fourth papal visit to Slovakia. 

After his arrival on Sunday, the Pope will spend the whole Monday in Bratislava, meeting with the representatives of churches, religious communities, state and the non-governmental sector. On Tuesday, Pope Francis will travel to eastern Slovakia. He will visit Prešov, where he will preside over the Byzantine Divine Liturgy of Saint John Chrystosom, and Košice, where he will visit the Luník IX neighbourhood for a meeting with the Roma community. Afterwards he will attend a meeting with young people at the Lokomotiva Stadium in Košice. On Wednesday, the Pope will serve the Holy Mass on the esplanade of the National Shrine in Šaštín
