The eyebrow-raising foreign visits of the Slovak prime minister were defended in an eyebrow-raising manner by Smer party MP Boris Zala, who told us we should watch to see if they "brought us any benefit".

The fight over the post of director of the Nation's Memory Institute will be waged by two right-wing candidates: František Mikloško, an MP for the opposition Christian Democrats, and Ivan Petranský, a historian with the Matica Slovenská cultural organization and the candidate of the far-right ruling SNS.
Rohožník
This exceptionally rare postcard from 1901 depicts a church in the town of Rohožník in the Záhorie region. At that time, construction had just finished, and the church was surrounded by mostly empty space.
