Electronic media object to ban on political advertising

Electronic media in Slovakia are objecting to a ban on broadcasting of political advertising leading up to the regional elections in November. Slovak producers of mead called Bohemiana, honey from acacia trees, and Beed (Včelovina) were among the winners of gold medals at the 3rd World Competition of Honey and Meads called Apimondia 2009 held in France. Czech Republic awards Slovaks for environmental efforts

The Czech Republic has a tradition of awarding prizes to individuals for their outstanding activities undertaken in the field of environmental protection. Czech Environment Minister Ladislav Miko continued this tradition in October and gave several awards to Slovaks for the first time.
