Essay-writing competition for an internship in Geneva

University students can win a three-week internship at the Permanent Representation of Slovakia at the United Nations in Geneva, Switzerland with an essay about development aid organised by the Pontis Foundation.

University students can win a three-week internship at the Permanent Representation of Slovakia at the United Nations in Geneva, Switzerland with an essay about development aid organised by the Pontis Foundation.

The deadline for sending an essay is May 24, 2009.

Students of Slovak nationality studying at any university in Slovakia or abroad are invited to take part in the competition. The essays should be written in the Slovak language. Topics for the essays can vary, from aid for developing countries to the challenges of funding development aid in Slovakia.

The first-place winner will have the opportunity to do an internship at the Slovak representation at the UN in Geneva; the second-place winner will be awarded an internship at the Slovak Foreign Affairs Ministry and the third-place winner will have an internship at the Pontis Foundation.
