Following Berlin, New York and also the Vatican, Bratislava will be another city on which Croatian artists have bestowed a giant Easter egg. Its painted surface features motifs of Slovakia.
“I am glad that our most beautiful square will become part of this interesting tradition,” said Radoslav Števčík, mayor of Bratislava’s Old Town.
What Easter events will be held in Bratislava?
The egg will decorate Hviezdoslavovo Square. The unveiling ceremony will take place on Sunday, March 25 at 16:00. Croatian Ambassador Aleksander Hein will attend the ceremony in person. The egg will remain on the square until April 20.
