.Thanks to the renaissance houses in its main street, Prešov is one of the most significant historical cities in East Slovakia.Many of the buildings we see in this picture have a gothic foundation. However, the houses themselves were later rebuilt in renaissance style.

The biomass alternative

EXPERTS believe that wood could once again become a major source of energy, just as it was in the Middle Ages. Of course, back then it was simply burned. But using new technology, wood can be turned into biomass and Slovakia could have an alternative source of energy that is both effective and ecologically sustainable.

Firearms amnesty passes cabinet
