Blatnica sword in powerful hands
AFTER the recent summit negotiations in Bratislava between the US and Russian heads of state, the visiting presidents left Slovakia's capital a little bit heavier. In their suitcases were replicas of one of the most valuable swords ever made in ancient Europe: the Blatnica sword.
Rusko dismissed
PAVOL Rusko is no longer the Economy Minister. President Ivan Gašparovič recalled him from his post on August 24 based on a formal request by Prime Minister Mikuláš Dzurinda.
