Attorney General's Office confirms authenticity of Rusko's tape
POLICE experts have confirmed the authenticity of a controversial video recording of a conversation between Pavol Rusko, the chairman of the former coalition New Citizen's Alliance (ANO) party, and a former ANO MP, Iveta Henzélyová, the Attorney General's Office confirmed on November 29.
Japan makes friends through art

. SLOVAK Radio and Slovak Television (STV) remain the most trusted media outlets in Slovakia, followed by the Pravda daily, according to a poll carried out in November by Slovak Radio's media research department, the TASR news agency reported.

What more could a country possibly achieve in seven years?" he asked.
Business barriers reflect geographic borders
THE TATRA Mountains are a symbol of Slovak pride and an important part of the national psyche. When a windstorm devastated the area in November 2004, the whole country mourned. But the Tatras are not the sole property of Slovakia. A portion of them belongs to Poland, and as such, they are also a symbol of Polish pride.

THE POLISH Institute in Bratislava is probably the oldest foreign cultural institute in Slovakia. It was established in 1950, long before an independent Slovakia was created. First called New Poland, then the Polish Information and Cultural Centre, in 1994 the institute took on its current identity.
