“Our goal is to show all businessmen in Slovakia that business goes hand in hand with fairness and that doing business can be an extraordinary contribution to the whole society,” Pontis Foundation head Lenka Surotchak told the press.
The Main Award for a Responsible Large Corporation went to Heineken Slovakia whose goal is to become the greenest brewery in Slovakia focusing on the protection of water reserves, a decrease in CO2 emissions, use of local products from sustainable sources, campaigning for responsible beer drinking and protection of its employees.

The Main Award for a Responsible Small or Medium-Sized Enterprise went to firm TaylorWessing e/n/w/c which supports a clean and transparent business environment and good law enforcement. The firm also provides advocacy to NGOs and media.
The Pontis Foundation also granted an Honourable Mention to the Dobre&Dobré (Well and Good) company which tries to help homeless people return to regular life. The firm also received the People’s Choice Award.
The Green Award went to tomato producer GreenCoop družstvo in Zlatná na Ostrove village and JRK WasteManagement. The Employer Award went to abattoir HSH in Veľké Zálužie village and telecommunication firm PayLess Consulting received the Fair Player in the Market Award. The Honourable Mention for fair play went to ARES výťahy a plošiny, a firm focusing on dealing with architectonic barriers which employs a number of disabled people.

The Supporter of Volunteering Award went to Hewlett-Packard Slovakia; the Good Partner of the Community Awards went to Obnova, a firm focusing on historical building renovations, and Východoslovenská energetika Holding, an energy supplier.
