State budget deficit in October is one-third lower than last year

Slovakia’s state budget deficit rose from €2.159 billion in September to €2.341 billion in October, the Finance Ministry announced on November 2 while stressing that in annual terms the deficit was 30.6 percent lower than in October 2010 when it had reached €3.373 billion, the TASR newswire reported.
